Theater

Having a Crestron control, skillfully programmed by Modern Home Systems' programmers, means family members can command complex strings of system commands with one touch on a small touchscreen.

Touching "DVD," for example, on the Crestron remote causes several sequences to occur simultaneously:

• The Proceed top-of-the-line PMDT DVD player powers up.
• All the needed components in the system, including a powerful Proceed 7 x 250 watt amplification system and Proceed's premium preamplifier and surround processing components, are activated and come to prescribed levels and status.
• Runco's top-of-the-line 9" CRT video projector is turned on.
• The high performance Faroudja video line quadrupler activates.
• The nine foot (diagonal) Stewart Filmscreen auto-masking screen adjusts to the proper screen aspect ratio.
• The room lights dim.

Theater - Another View

While viewing this clear, precise picture, the sound of this spectacular theater is no less impressive, but virtually hidden from view. Speakers were hidden, or integrate so well into the room decor by Modern Home Systems' designers and installers, you'd be hard pressed to find them.... until you HEAR them, of course.

The main speaker system consists of Revel's top-of-the-line Ultima Series speakers - Voice and Gem models. The bottom frequencies are provided by two Revel 15" subwoofer modules powered by a dedicated LE-1 power amplifier.

Two pair of premium Sonance Cinema II in-wall THX® speakers effortlessly handle side and rear channel sound and effects.

Modern Home Systems' designers used computer aided design and acoustic modeling to optimize sound in this theater wonderland. Room dimensions and layout, seating, risers, and column details were planned carefully for the best sound possible.

The room also features luxurious theater seating - built to last - and various other sources for enjoying video tapes, cable, satellite, CDs and video games.

Family Room

For those smaller get togethers or during family time, the family room is the place to congregate. No need to fire up the theater to watch the news... unless you want to.

The same Crestron control that allowed so much control with so little effort handles double and triple duty by permitting two-way control and feedback of system status from anywhere in the home.

Outdoor Living Space

From virtually anywhere in the house - even on the patio - Crestron wireless controls monitor and activate lighting, security, music, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, & air conditioning) throughout the home.

You have complete control.

Pool

The outdoor pool is a paradise, perfect for escaping the rigors of the day. Want music? No problem.

Modern Home Systems' installers have placed 5 pair of sturdy rock landscape speakers around the perimeter. These are unaffected by the intense Southern California sun and can withstand years of outdoor use.

Six additional pair of Sonance 8" 3-way in-wall speakers were situated strategically around the living areas outdoors to provide a "soundtrack" to contented Southern California living, whenever desired.
